Welcome to Backthred. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order or creating an account.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing our site, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) and that you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration

To place an order, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@backthred.com.gh if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Products and Pricing

  • We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions and pricing. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel orders placed at incorrect prices.
  • All prices are listed in Ghanaian Cedi (GHC) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Product availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products without notice.

4. Ordering and Payment

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
  • Payment is required at the time of ordering via Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or AirtelTigo Money).
  • You will receive an order confirmation in your account once payment is successfully processed.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures resulting from Mobile Money network issues outside our control.

5. Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to public holidays, extreme weather, or carrier issues. For full details see our Shipping & Delivery page.

6. Returns and Refunds

Returns and exchanges are subject to our Returns & Exchanges Policy . Refunds are issued to the original Mobile Money number used at checkout, within 3–5 business days of return approval.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts.
  • Engage in fraudulent activities, including placing orders with no intent to pay.
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy or resell any part of our site without express written permission.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including logos, images, text and software — is the property of Backthred Ghana or its content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use our content without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Backthred Ghana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
